Whether sifting through sand, or scrambling over a rocky shore, it's about finding treasures in every day.

Scary Signs

I was in the southwest United States recently and saw this great sign:

Hmm, a little comparison here...

Rattlesnakes, lizards, and scorpions do not grow wild in Alaska, and our spiders don't grow to tarantula size.

Alaskan centipedes are little guys and they hardly ever bite. Alaska does have bears that bite, but again hardly ever. They just get a lot of attention when they do chomp on somebody. I'm sure there are signs around Alaska that warn about bears.

This Southeast Alaska sign, however, not only cracks me up, but somehow seems much scarier than snakes and scorpions....and bears......

Okay...I am supposed to use firearms in the residential area - just do it carefully. Got it.

Oh, no, now I get it! Use firearms recklessly until you pass this sign. Okay, I think I've got it now.
